Renewables industry in Northern Ireland questioned

The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee holds its second public evidence session for its inquiry into the electricity sector in Northern Ireland.

Purpose of the session

The aim of the session will be to explore the key issues facing the renewables industry in Northern Ireland, including the implications arising from the target for 40% of electricity consumption to come from renewable sources by 2020, and the closure of the Northern Ireland Renewables Obligation (NIRO) scheme.
