This session has two key aims: first, to examine the impact of climate change on global and UK supply chains, as part of the Committee’s inquiry into critical national infrastructure and climate adaptation; and second, to explore the impact of the Ukraine conflict on global supply chains – particularly on food security. The latter topic follows up on the Committee’s recent evidence session on Ukraine and the Integrated Review.
