Liaison Committee sets out topics for forthcoming session with Prime Minister

The Liaison Committee releases the details of the topics for next week’s Liaison Committee session with the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak MP.
The Chair of the Liaison Committee, Sir Bernard Jenkin MP, leads twelve chairs in questions on the Budget and economic issues, migrants arriving on small boats and the Windsor Framework. The order of questioning is determined before the meeting.

The Liaison Committee includes all the chairs from the House of Commons select committees. Chaired by Sir Bernard Jenkin MP, it considers the overall work of select committees, promotes effective scrutiny of Government and chooses committee reports for debates. Members also question the Prime Minister about policy at regular intervals.
