The chair of the Justice Committee was allocated to the Conservative Party. Robert Neill's election as Chair of the Justice Committee was announced on 18 June 2015.
The other members of the Committee were nominated by the House on 6 July 2015. The other members of the Committee were elected by secret ballot within their own party.
