Purpose of the session
The session covers increases introduced or proposed by the Government to the levels of fees for claimants in the civil courts, family courts and tribunals, including employment tribunals, with members of the senior judiciary being asked for their assessment of the effects of those increases on the operation of the courts and on access to justice.
