Max Hill KC questioned on the Work of the Director for Public Prosecutions

The Justice Committee session provides an opportunity for the Committee to examine the work of the Director and the performance of the Crown Prosecution Service. Questioning is likely to focus on issues including the Crown Court backlog, prosecution of rape and serious sexual offences and the quality of support given to victims. The session will also examine how the CPS operates, including recruitment, staff satisfaction and use of new technologies.
