Call for evidence
Submit written evidence
The Committee is seeking views on:
- What steps need to be taken to ensure that measures taken by the Government to address the COVID-19 pandemic are human rights compliant?
- What will the impact of specific measures taken by Government to address the COVID-19 pandemic be on human rights in the UK?
- Which groups will be disproportionately affected by measures taken by the Government to address the COVID-19 pandemic?
Please send submissions of no more than 1,500 words through the written submission form.
As the situation is evolving and we wish to be able to respond to issues as they arise, there is no specific deadline for submissions, although we would be pleased to receive them as soon as possible.
Your evidence will normally be published on the internet. It stays public forever. That means that other people will be able to find and read what you send us.
If you’d like your evidence to be anonymous (we’ll publish your evidence, but not your name or any personal details about you) or confidential (we’ll read your evidence, but we won’t publish it), please tick the box you’ll see on the submission form.
We can’t guarantee that this will happen, because the Committee has the power to decide whether evidence is kept anonymous or confidential. But we’ll usually be able to do what you’ve asked for.
