UK Trade sanctions on Russia
The Committee is asking for written evidence (which addresses the terms of reference below) to be submitted through the Committee’s web portal by 12pm on Friday 17 March 2023.
Terms of reference
- The role of the Department for International Trade in developing, implementing and enforcing the trade-related aspects of UK sanctions on Russia, including the interaction between DIT and other sanctions bodies such as the FCDO, Home Office, HMRC, HMT and OFSI;
- The impact that trade-related UK sanctions on Russia has on UK businesses, supply chains and consumers; and
- The effectiveness of the Government’s support, guidance, international co-operation and trade policy in mitigating the impact of trade-related UK sanctions on Russia on UK businesses, supply chains and consumers.
It is recommended that all submitters familiarise themselves with the Guidance on giving evidence to a Select Committee of the House of Commons which outlines particulars of word count, format, document size, and content restrictions.
